Scoring a link from the &lt;a href=&quot;http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pete_Ashdown&quot; rel=&quot;nofollow&quot;&gt;Wikipedia&lt;/a&gt; is the same. It does a great deal to shift the topology of the net.

Sadly, I worry that the focus of the net has shifted completely from how to build a good information sources to ways to manipulate those that do pop up. In other words, I hope people are reading this site thinking that they&#039;ve got to get out and manipulate the system to succeed.</description>
