Ashdown receives donations award

XMission owner Pete Ashdown received the "Community Spirit" award for the Utah Society of Fund Raisers on Wednesday.

   "The open-donation policy is the part of XMission I take the most pride in," Ashdown said in a statement.
   Ashdown is running as a Democrat against Sen. Orrin Hatch and has handed over day-to-day operation of XMission to campaign.
